VOICED : Una Alianza del Pacifico sin aranceles

The eighth Pacific Alliance summit in Cartagena aimed to establish a trade agreement eliminating tariffs on 92% of the bloc's products, fostering joint production and trade with Asia. Hosted by Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, leaders from Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Costa Rica participated. The alliance represents 212 million people and 36% of Latin America's GDP. Sensitive agricultural products like bananas, coffee, maize, and beans are excluded from the agreement, with tariff reductions over 17 years.
