Moderna To Supply Africa With Up To 110 Million COVID Doses

Moderna plans to ship up to 110 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to Africa, with 15 million arriving by the end of the year, 35 million in the first quarter of next year, and the rest by the second quarter of 2022. African leaders have expressed concerns about vaccine distribution inequality, as richer countries have been prioritized, leaving Africa with only about 5% of its population vaccinated.
