Tawakkol Karman, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, proposed an international tribunal to prosecute multinational executives for environmental damage. She visited Honduras with Shirin Ebadi to support women opposing dam construction, a cause linked to the murder of activist Berta Cáceres. They called for justice in Cáceres' case, where eight people, including former employees of Desarrollos Energéticos, are imprisoned. Honduras has the highest murder rate of land and human rights defenders globally, according to the Nobel Women's Initiative.
