VOICED : Economía brasileña entra en recesión

The Brazilian economy entered a recession with a 0.1% GDP decline in Q3 2021, marking the second consecutive negative quarter. This downturn is largely due to reduced agricultural activity, particularly in soy, coffee, cotton, and corn, attributed to drought conditions. The economy had begun recovering in Q3 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic's impact, which saw a 4.1% GDP drop in 2020. Despite the current recession, Brazil's economy grew 4% compared to Q3 2020, and market forecasts predict a 4.78% growth for the year, according to the Central Bank's Focus survey.
