Tomás Bach, president of the IOC, arrived in Lima addressing concerns about vote-buying for the 2016 Rio Olympics. He will lead the 131st IOC session in Peru to decide the host cities for the 2024 and 2028 Olympics. The session may make history by assigning two Olympic Games simultaneously. The 130 IOC members will vote by a show of hands on a tripartite agreement involving the IOC, Paris, and Los Angeles. Los Angeles withdrew its 2024 bid to focus on 2028, allowing Paris to host in 2024. Both cities have signed an agreement to be detailed before the vote.
