VOICED : Fuerte explosión en hotel céntrico de La Habana deja más de una veintena de muertos

Among the deceased was a child, and many injured, including minors, were treated in Havana hospitals. The emergency response involved coordinated efforts from civil defense, firefighters, and other local forces. The explosion destroyed the first four floors of the hotel, which was closed for renovations and set to reopen soon. The Saratoga Hotel, a neoclassical building originally constructed in 1880, was converted into a hotel in 1933 and reopened in 2005.
