Titanic: animated reconstruction of the sinking of the Titanic

The Titanic, once the largest ship, was considered unsinkable due to its 16 watertight compartments and double hull. Built in Belfast, it departed Queenstown on April 11, 1912, heading to New York. On April 14, it struck an iceberg, leading to its sinking within three hours. The iceberg damaged five compartments, causing the bow to flood and break off, while the stern tilted and sank. The ship's remains rest about two thousand feet apart on the ocean floor.
