Many face challenges, including expired passports and the dangerous Darién jungle. The U.S. will accept 24,000 Venezuelans, but those entering illegally via Mexico or Panama are excluded. Migrants are waiting for policy changes, as returning through the jungle is perilous. Since 2015, over six million Venezuelans have fled due to political and economic crises.
