A 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Iran's Karmanshah province, causing over 400 deaths and injuring around 6,700 people. The epicenter was near Sarepol, Esaham, the most affected city. Rescue operations continued as survivors were provided with temporary shelters. The quake also impacted Iraq, resulting in additional casualties.
