VOICED : Buenos Aires aprueba ley para garantizar “la despedida” a enfermos de covid-19

The Buenos Aires Legislature approved a law allowing a family member to accompany terminal COVID-19 patients. The law aims to prevent patients from dying in isolation. Accompanying individuals must be healthy and not pregnant. Hospitals will provide biosecurity equipment and psychological support. Currently, only a few facilities allow this practice, but similar initiatives are expanding across Argentina. The Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team is involved in providing recommendations and training. The country is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths.
