VOICED : Exmandatarios urgen elecciones libres en Venezuela

On the eve of the Seventh Summit of the Americas, 26 former presidents from the Americas and Spain signed a declaration condemning the human rights situation in Venezuela. The document demands the release of 80 political prisoners, including Leopoldo López and Antonio Ledesma, and criticizes the lack of press freedom. Spanish leaders Felipe González and José María Aznar also signed the declaration. Colombian Andrés Pastrana highlighted the unprecedented unity among former leaders.
