Mollusks are invertebrates with soft bodies, often possessing a radular, a tongue-like organ with teeth. They are categorized into three main groups: gastropods, bivalvia, and cephalopods. Gastropods include snails and slugs, with snails having spiral shells and slugs lacking shells. Bivalvia mollusks, such as clams, oysters, and mussels, have two shells. Cephalopods, like squids and octopi, live in saltwater and have no shells.
