VOICED : Zoologico de Nicaragua recibe a su primer hipopotamo

The Nicaraguan zoo has welcomed a new resident, Fátima, a nearly three-year-old hippopotamus weighing over 450 kilos. Donated by an individual who couldn't care for her, Fátima is now part of the zoo's exotic collection. Hippos, native to Africa, are among the largest animals globally and are only found in captivity in Latin America. Fátima is the sole hippo at the zoo, which houses over 900 animals, many endangered, and serves as a protection and rescue center.
