VOICED: The life of a child soldier in eastern DR Congo

Nicole, a former child soldier, was abducted at 12 and witnessed her brother's murder. Forced into a life of violence and abuse, she endured years of trauma. Eventually, she escaped and now learns a trade, offering hope for a new life. Despite her escape, many child soldiers remain trapped. Nicole lives with her son, born from rape, and while she she finds happiness, her past continues to haunt her.
