Rosa Payá, a Cuban dissident, visited Chile and urged the Chilean government to support an independent investigation into the death of her father, Oswaldo Payá, who died in a car accident in 2012. The family disputes the accident theory, supported by the testimony of Carromero, the driver, who claims Oswaldo was assassinated by Cuban secret services. Despite the pain, the family seeks the truth to prevent future occurrences. Rosa's family has faced threats and has relocated to Miami for safety.
