VOICED : Soldados de la fuerza africana matan

A protest by Christians in Bangui, Central African Republic, ended tragically when Chadian soldiers from the African force MISCA shot a protester. The protestors were demanding the resignation of the Muslim president, Michel Jotodia, and the withdrawal of Chadian soldiers. The majority Christian population of Bangui accuses the Chadians of supporting the Seleka, a former Muslim rebel group that seized power earlier in the year. The violence by Seleka has resulted in the deaths of many, including family members of the protestors. Recent massacres between Christians and Muslims have led to nearly a thousand deaths, prompting French military intervention.
