Juul To Pay Nearly $440M To Settle States' Teen Vaping Probe

Jewel has agreed to pay over $438 million to settle a lawsuit involving 36 states, which accused the company of marketing its products to children and contributing to a vaping crisis. Although Jewel denies any wrongdoing, it will no longer market to teens. The company is also waiting for a decision from the FDA on whether it can continue selling e-cigarettes, as the agency assesses their safety.
