VOICED : Chile reforzara ofensiva diplomatica por demanda boliviana

Chile is adopting a more active diplomatic strategy in response to Bolivia's demand for sea access at the International Court of Justice. Chilean Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz announced the use of historical, political, and legal arguments to counter Bolivia's campaign. The strategy includes mobilizing parliamentarians and former presidents to present Chile's position. Journalist Ascanio Caballo, historian Joaquín Fernández, and political scientist Gabriel Gaspar will join Chile's defense team. Bolivia seeks negotiations to regain Pacific access lost in a 19th-century war. The Hague has declared itself competent to hear the case, initiating a formal trial and raising Bolivian hopes.
