Consequently, the EU will not send an observation mission. In contrast, the EU plans to send a mission to Venezuela for the regional elections, aiming to support a political solution involving the full participation of the opposition. Borrell's visit to Latin America also seeks to strengthen political, economic, and cooperative ties, including with Brazil.
