VOICED : Cruceros con pacientes de coronavirus llegan al puerto de Fort Lauderdale

The cruise ships Sandam and Rotterdam arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after being denied entry at several South American ports due to a COVID-19 outbreak on board. The ships carried four deceased individuals and numerous passengers with flu-like symptoms. Plans were made to transport healthy passengers to the airport and isolate those with mild symptoms on board. The Sandam's journey began in Argentina and was supposed to end in Chile, but the outbreak led to port closures. Holland America sent the Rotterdam to assist. Meanwhile, Princess Cruises announced the Coral Princess would also head to Fort Lauderdale with confirmed COVID-19 cases. Both cruise lines are subsidiaries of Carnival Corporation.
