Anne Frank, a Jewish victim of the Holocaust, is well-known for her family's efforts to hide from the Nazis, led by Adolf Hitler. They lived secretly with others in an apartment behind a bookcase. Unfortunately, they were discovered, and Anne Frank died in a concentration camp.
