Neil Peart, Drummer And Lyricist For Rush, Dies At 67

Neil Peart, the drummer of the band Rush, passed away at 67 due to brain cancer. His bandmates expressed their sorrow in a statement. Rush, formed in 1968, reached its peak after Peart joined in 1974, producing numerous platinum albums and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Peart retired in 2015 and is survived by his wife and daughter.
