Thousands of Honduran protesters marched in the capital, clashing with police who used tear gas. The protesters, including university students, demanded the resignation of President Juan Orlando Hernández, accused of drug trafficking ties. The protest was organized by state workers and opposition parties, who allege election fraud in 2017. Hernández denied the charges, citing US support for his anti-drug efforts. Later, government supporters also marched in support of the president.
