VOICED : Ecuador vacuna contra el covid-19 a niños de cinco a once años

Ecuador has started vaccinating children aged 5 to 11 against COVID-19. The Ministry of Health announced that children can receive the vaccine after completing other immunizations. Two doses of Sinovac, 28 days apart, or Pfizer-BioNTech are available. Children in this age group make up 13% of Ecuador's population. The country is experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases and is the seventh in Latin America for pandemic-related deaths. Out of 17 million people, 10 million have completed the COVID-19 vaccination, and nearly 1.3 million have received the first dose.
