VOICED : Mueren 16 policias egipcios en combates con islamistas

A deadly ambush by Islamist rebels in the desert resulted in the deaths of 16 police officers. The attack occurred on a road leading to the Bajarinja oasis, 200 km from Cairo. The Ministry of Interior reported that 15 attackers were killed by security forces. The attack coincided with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's preparations to attend the 75th anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein.
