I WONDER - How Was Chocolate Invented?

The Aztecs were not the first to discover cocoa beans, but they were the first to create chocolate from them, considering it a divine gift. They invented hot chocolate by mixing cocoa with water and other ingredients like chili peppers, vanilla, and honey. Cocoa beans were so valuable to the Aztecs that they used them as currency.
