VOICED : Pilotos franceses condenados en R Dominicana estan en Francia

In 2013, four French nationals were sentenced to 20 years in prison in the Dominican Republic for cocaine trafficking. While appealing, two pilots, Pascal Fauret and Bruno Odoz, fled to France, seeking justice there. Their lawyer claims they are not evading justice but seeking a fair trial. The escape route reportedly involved San Martín and Martinique. France denies involvement in their return. The other two Frenchmen remain in the Caribbean. The incident dates back to March 19, 2013, when authorities found 680 kg of cocaine in 26 suitcases on a plane bound for France.
