VOICED : "Quita la pandemia por favor", fieles venezolanos claman al Nazareno

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Venezuelans maintained their faith by observing the traditional Semana Santa procession of the Nazareno de San Pablo in Caracas. Due to quarantine measures, the image was transported on a vehicle used by Pope John Paul II. While authorities and the Church advised against public gatherings, some people gathered in the streets, while others watched from home or online. The Nazareno is believed to have performed miracles during a 17th-century epidemic.
