Bioengineered vein successfully implanted in U.S. first

The video tutorial explains the process of creating human cell-based vein implants. It begins with a biodegradable mesh scaffolding, to which donor cells are added. Over time, the mesh dissolves, and the vein is cultured in nutrients for two months. The cultured vein is then washed to remove living cells, leaving a collagen structure. These nonliving veins can be stored and implanted without causing an immune response.
