The foundation, known for arts and educational initiatives in the Philippines, is launching its first medical campaign, the Campaign for Filipino Children. This initiative addresses a widespread condition causing blindness in premature babies due to inadequate prenatal care. The campaign aims to provide training and equipment to hospitals and physicians, improving diagnosis and treatment. With limited special education options, visually impaired children's prospects are bleak. The campaign will partner with pediatric experts to implement a training program in rural and provincial hospitals over the next two years.
