VOICED : Colombia renueva controles fronterizos para venezolanos

Venezuelans living near the border must obtain a new migration document, the TMF, to enter Colombia starting May 1. The TMF includes a QR code and chip, allowing stays of up to eight days but not entry into the country's interior. It replaces the 2016 migration card and is for frequent border crossers. A temporary document is issued while verifying migration patterns for six months, after which a two-year validity is granted. Passports can also be used for crossing.
