Venezuela will close its border with Colombia at night to combat contraband. The closure, from 10 PM to 5 AM starting Monday, aims to curb the smuggling of gasoline and food, which are cheaper in Venezuela. The decision was made by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos during a meeting in Cartagena.
