Restaurants across the nation are struggling to survive due to insufficient funding from the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. Faidley Seafood in Baltimore, owned by Jamie Hahn's family, was among those affected. Despite being promised priority funding, they were left without support, leading to financial strain. Many restaurants are at risk of closing permanently. Efforts are underway to pass a bill that would provide $60 billion in additional funding to help these businesses. The National Restaurant Association estimates that replenishing the fund could save 1.6 million jobs.
