VOICED : Detienen miembros de Damas de Blanco en C

In Havana, at least 20 members of the Cuban organization Damas de Blanco were detained during a silent march on Human Rights Day. They were taken away by police amidst jeers from around 200 government supporters. Opposition leader Antonio González Rodiles reported that two Argentine activists and other dissidents were also detained by police. Rodiles, who is organizing an international human rights meeting in Havana, stated that the dissidents were intercepted before reaching the event.
