VOICED : Chile: profesores quieren participar de reforma

Chilean teachers protested for better public education and active participation in reforms. They demand inclusion in the reform process, which the government has started by passing laws to eliminate family copayments and profit in subsidized schools. However, these measures do not satisfy the protesters. Since 2011, students have demanded quality public education, as Chile's system remains one of the most segregated globally, a legacy from Pinochet's dictatorship.
