US-built aid pier in Gaza will reopen for a few days, then be removed permanently

The US military plans to remove a pier off the coast of Gaza next week. The pier, used for delivering aid, will be reconnected to clear remaining supplies in Cyprus. Once completed, the Army will dismantle the pier. The $230 million project faced delays due to rough seas.
