Neil Harbisson: I listen to color

The speaker, who has achromatopsia, describes how he hears colors using an electronic eye developed with collaborators. This device translates color frequencies into sounds via bone conduction. Over time, he adapted to this new perception, which changed his experiences in art, fashion, and food. He also creates sound portraits and translates music into color.
