Authorities noted a 457% increase in Nuzman's wealth over the past decade, with unclear origins. Leonardo Griner, Nuzman's right-hand man, was also arrested. Both face charges of corruption, money laundering, and criminal organization. The Public Ministry of Rio requested the freezing of $319 million in assets from those investigated.
