VOICED : México acaba su calvario ante El Salvador y confirma su presencia en Catar-2022

Mexico secured its place in the Qatar 2022 World Cup by defeating El Salvador 2-0 in the final CONCACAF qualifying match. Despite an inconsistent campaign under coach Gerardo Martino, Mexico finished second in the standings with 28 points. El Salvador ended in seventh place with 10 points, missing out on qualification. In other matches, Canada lost to Panama but had already qualified as the zone leader. The USA lost to Costa Rica but still qualified in third place. Costa Rica, in fourth place, will face New Zealand in an intercontinental playoff.
