Olaf married the Princess of Dublin and later returned to Norway to claim the throne. His reign was characterized by efforts to consolidate power and convert Norway to Christianity. However, his conflict with Sven Forkbeard led to the Battle of Svalder, where Olaf was betrayed and ultimately met his demise. Despite his defeat, Olaf's legacy endured in Norwegian history.
