Iraq has experienced its third sandstorm in two weeks, highlighting its vulnerability to climate change. The storm led to the temporary closure of Baghdad and Nayaf airports and caused respiratory issues among residents. Previous storms also resulted in airport closures and health problems. Meteorological services predict the storm will last until Thursday. Iraq is among the top five countries most vulnerable to climate change and desertification.
