Mexican Punitive Expedition returns to New Mexico in 1917

The Mexican government was frustrated with foreign troops on their land, and with the looming possibility of America's involvement in World War One, President Wilson decided to recall General Pershing and his troops. The expedition returned to Columbus, greeted by cheering crowds.
