NASA shares more details about moon probe's rough landing

The Odysseus Lander, a collaboration between NASA and Intuitive Machines, successfully completed its mission on the moon, gathering data from all payloads despite landing sideways. As it enters lunar night, the lander will go dormant, with a chance of reactivation when sunlight returns. This mission marks a historic achievement as the first American spacecraft on the moon in over 50 years, and the first by a private company. Future missions by other companies are planned under NASA's Eclipse program, aiming to prepare for human return to the moon.
