South Koreans will soon be able to use cryptocurrency as payment in 6,000 stores

Bit Thumb has partnered with a digital payment service to promote crypto adoption. Barcodes in mobile apps will allow users to pay with cryptocurrencies at physical stores. The payment system will initially be available at 6000 retail outlets, expanding to 8000 by the end of 2018. Additionally, Bit Thumb has signed an agreement with a Korean travel website to enable hotel and accommodation bookings using cryptocurrencies.
