Grassland

Grasslands are vast areas with low-growing plants, found on every continent except Antarctica. They receive moderate rainfall, insufficient for forests but enough to avoid deserts. Known as prairies, steppes, pampas, and savannahs in different regions, grasslands host diverse wildlife, including large mammals and smaller animals that use grass for cover.
