Accused of using client funds for speculative trades via Alameda Research, he faces eight charges, including conspiracy and money laundering, with potential life imprisonment. Collaborators Gary Wang and Caroline Ellison have pleaded guilty and are cooperating with authorities. FTX was once valued at $32 billion.
