VOICED: Uighur, ex-Guantanamo detainee, finds home in Albania

Abu Bakr Kazeem, a Uighur from China's Xinjiang region, was detained at Guantanamo Bay for five years before being granted asylum in Albania in 2006. Despite initial suspicion, he has built a new life in Tirana, where his faith and community acceptance have helped him thrive. Abu remains hopeful for a reunion with his family, encouraged by President Obama's decision to close Guantanamo, and has reached out to the US government for assistance in regaining his former life.
