House Panel Requests Probe Into Alexei Navalny Poisoning

If the Russian government is found responsible, the panel urges the President to impose more sanctions on Russia. A previous investigation had already held Russia accountable for the 2018 poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter, using the same Soviet-era nerve agent believed to have been used on Navalny. Navalny is currently recovering in a German hospital, while the Kremlin denies any involvement.
