VOICED: Two months on, Colombians look for an end to floods

In northern Colombia, severe flooding has displaced over 2 million people, leaving them homeless and reliant on fishing for survival. Despite promises of aid, only a small fraction have received assistance. Many, like Maria Eugenia, face dire conditions, having to turn their children over to the state. The community is frustrated with the lack of response from local and national leaders. Some aid is provided by missionaries, but with the threat of diseases like malaria and more rain expected, the situation remains precarious.
