Water Smart: Water on Earth - Glaciers

The video explains how water changes phase to become ice and, over time, forms glaciers. Glaciers, which are large masses of ice from accumulated snowfall, help scientists study past climates. They are mostly found in cold regions and move slowly, carving landscapes. When glaciers reach bodies of water, they form icebergs. Despite their size, glaciers contain only a small fraction of Earth's freshwater.
